Pakistan, Jan. 16 -- Punjab is set to experience widespread rain and snowfall as a westerly weather system enters the province from January 16, ending the prolonged dry spell and affecting most districts over the coming days.

The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) and Meteorological Department confirmed that the system will remain active until January 19, bringing intermittent rainfall and snowfall, especially in hilly areas such as Murree, Galiyat, and surrounding tourist destinations.
