Pakistan, July 24 -- The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) has approved seven major development schemes worth Rs16.8 billion for the fiscal year 2025-26. The decision came during the PDWP's 10th meeting, chaired by Dr. Naeem Rauf, Chairman of the Planning and Development Board Punjab.

Among the top priorities is the Chief Minister's Program for Water Efficient Agriculture, which will receive Rs7.82 billion. The scheme aims to promote sustainable farming techniques and improve water conservation across the province.
