Pakistan, Aug. 5 -- Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has approved the immediate construction of 3,000 residential flats for laborers in industrial areas across the province. During the 28th provincial cabinet meeting, which covered a 130-point agenda, she directed authorities to begin construction without delay. Additionally, 1,220 flats in Sundar, Kasur, and Taxila Labor Complexes will be allotted through a transparent balloting process.

Importantly, Maryam Nawaz rejected any proposal to recover construction costs from the workers and instead called for immediate action to expand housing support.
