Pakistan, July 16 -- The Punjab government has approved and released a grant of Rs42 billion for the 2025-26 cycle of its key low-income housing initiative, 'Apni Chhat Apna Ghar'. This major public welfare scheme is designed to help deserving families secure safe, affordable, and dignified homes.

Punjab Secretary for Housing, Noor-ul-Amin Mengal, stated that more than 51,000 families have benefited from the program since its launch. He highlighted the government's commitment to tackling the housing crisis in both urban and rural areas, especially for the economically weaker segments of society.
