Pakistan, Jan. 20 -- Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir stressed strong, professional policing ensures internal security and rule of law. He said a people-centric police force remains vital for national stability. He shared these views during his visit to the National Police Academy.

During the visit, senior police leadership welcomed the army chief with a guard of honour. He laid a wreath at the Police Martyrs' Monument and offered Fateha. He paid tribute to officers who sacrificed their lives protecting public safety.
