Pakistan, Jan. 15 -- The benchmark KSE-100 Index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Wednesday closed bearish, losing 1,381.69 points, a negative change of 0.75 percent, to settle at 182,569.82 points compared to 183,951.51 points on the previous trading day, according to PSX data.

During the session, the ready market witnessed a trading volume of 1,034.117 million shares with a traded value of Rs 65.964 billion, against 1,037.262 million shares valuing Rs 62.705 billion in the previous session. Market capitalization declined to Rs 20.630 trillion from Rs 20.770 trillion a day earlier. Out of 483 active companies in the ready market, 90 advanced, 352 declined, while 41 remained unchanged.
