Pakistan, Oct. 6 -- The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed bearish trend on Monday, as the benchmark KSE-100 index lost 1,237.66 points, showing a negative change of 0.73 percent, closing at 167,752.41 points against 168,990.07 points on the previous trading day.

A total of 1,274,364,327 shares were traded during the day compared to 1,573,346,286 shares on the previous trading session, whereas the share value stood at Rs60.54 billion against Rs78.66 billion previously.

As many as 487 companies transacted their shares in the stock market, out of which 108 recorded gains, 348 sustained losses, whereas 31 remained unchanged.
