Pakistan, Feb. 11 -- The Pakistan Super League (PSL) has entered a new era, launching its first-ever players' auction for Season 11. The move replaces the traditional draft system, introducing a competitive bidding process for team selection. PSL officials say the change aims to add strategy and excitement ahead of the March 26 tournament start.

A total of 880 players have registered for the auction, including both local stars and international cricketers. Eight teams will compete in the upcoming season, with franchises planning their squads through a dynamic and transparent auction process. Organizers expect heightened fan engagement due to the new format.
