President Asif Ali Zardari has given his formal approval to the Anti-Dumping Duties Amendment Bill 2025, after it was passed by both the National Assembly and the Senate earlier this year.

Following the presidential assent, the amended anti-dumping duties will now apply retroactively from July 1, 2020, providing long-awaited legal clarity on the enforcement of these trade regulations.

The bill specifically addresses the application of anti-dumping duties on projects funded by Chinese grants, ensuring transparent and fair trade practices in alignment with Pakistan's international commitments.
