Pakistan, July 29 -- In a major week-long crackdown against criminal elements, Karachi Police arrested more than 870 suspects, recovered over 79 kilograms of narcotics, seized 112 illegal weapons, and retrieved 38 stolen motorcycles and one four-wheeler. According to the Karachi Police spokesperson on Monday, 20 armed encounters were reported during the week, resulting in the death of three robbers, injuries to 19, and the arrest of 33 suspects. Police also confiscated 26 firearms and eight motorcycles used in crimes during these confrontations.
