Pakistan, March 7 -- Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Hafeez Shaikh on Saturday met with Prime Minister Imran Khan here in Islamabad. During the meeting, Imran Khan expressed full confidence in the finance minister and directed him to continue his work as a minister.

Imran Khan said he recognises the efforts Hafeez Shaikh has made to boost Pakistan's economy. Following meeting with the prime minister, Hafeez Shaikh has decided not to hand in his resignation from the finance minister's position.
