Pakistan, Aug. 4 -- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is visiting Gilgit Baltistan today to assess the impact of recent heavy rains and floods in the region. His visit aims to understand the damages and help affected communities recover quickly. The prime minister plans to spend the entire day in Gilgit to oversee relief efforts.
During his visit, PM Shehbaz will meet with local residents who have suffered losses due to the floods. He will personally interact with the affected families and listen to their concerns. In addition, he will distribute compensation cheques to support those impacted by the natural disaster.
