Pakistan, Aug. 4 -- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited flood-hit Gilgit Baltistan on Monday, where he expressed deep concern over the increasing impact of climate change in the region. During his day-long visit, the premier was briefed by GB Governor Mehdi Shah about the extent of flood damage caused by continuous heavy rains. PM Shehbaz regretted the loss of lives and destruction of property, stating that natural disasters are becoming more frequent due to changing weather patterns.
