Pakistan, May 18 -- ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a phone call with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Saturday and thanked him for his sincere diplomatic efforts in defusing regional tensions. The leaders discussed the evolving situation in South Asia, especially the recent escalation between Pakistan and India.
