ISLAMABAD, Jan. 27 -- Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has directed the government to prepare a comprehensive plan to secure maximum relief from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) under the ongoing loan programme, sources told media on Tuesday.

Ahead of upcoming discussions with the IMF, the premier stressed that additional burdens cannot be imposed on the public or industries. He instructed relevant authorities to submit concrete proposals within two weeks to negotiate relief, particularly aimed at supporting industrial revival and easing challenges faced by businesses.
