In a message marking Police Martyrs' Day, he expressed deep gratitude to officers who continue to serve the nation in difficult conditions, far from their families. He said their dedication has protected millions from violence and saved countless lives.

He highlighted that over 8,000 police personnel have laid down their lives in the war against terrorism.
