Pakistan, May 9 -- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has pledged that the upcoming federal budget will focus on easing the financial burden on the common man, especially the poor and middle class. While chairing a high-level meeting on the 2025-26 budget preparations, he stressed that all available resources would be used to bring relief to those struggling financially.
He directed that the new budget should prioritise job creation, agricultural growth, IT development, and support for small and medium enterprises. The prime minister also highlighted the need to boost housing and industrial production to promote overall economic growth.
