Pakistan, June 17 -- ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed authorities to connect the Reko Diq mining site in Balochistan to Pakistan's national railway network by the year 2028. The move aims to boost regional development and improve cargo transportation across the country.
During a high-level meeting chaired by the Prime Minister, officials presented a detailed briefing on the future needs of cargo and transportation. The session also focused on the upgradation of Pakistan Railways, including the improvement of major lines such as ML-1 and ML-3.
