Pakistan, May 18 -- Government rolls out major reforms to transform farming, fisheries, and livestock sectors
LAHORE - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif aims to boost Pakistan's agriculture exports to $125 billion by 2030 under a new vision for a second green revolution, said Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research, Rana Tanveer Hussain, on Saturday.
During a meeting at the PASSCO head office, the minister highlighted 28 major initiatives that the government is implementing to uplift the agriculture, livestock, and fisheries sectors. These efforts are aimed at improving value chains, increasing exports, and earning valuable foreign exchange.
