Pakistan, Aug. 5 -- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed authorities to remove all bureaucratic and institutional hurdles to ensure smooth and permanent reforms in the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). Chairing a meeting in Islamabad, he expressed satisfaction over the recent increase in the tax-to-GDP ratio and emphasized the government's full backing for reform efforts. He called for consistent implementation of the customs clearance reforms across the country.
