LAHORE: Petroleum product prices are expected to go up in the first fortnight of October 2025, with an increase of up to Rs4.65 per litre.

According to industry estimates, petrol may rise by Rs1.97 per litre, while the price of high-speed diesel could go up by Rs1.76 per litre. Light diesel oil and kerosene are also likely to increase by Rs1.76 and Rs4.65 per litre respectively.

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) will send its pricing summary to the Petroleum Division, which will forward it to the Ministry of Finance. The final decision will be taken after approval from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
