Pakistan, Oct. 15 -- Petrol prices in Pakistan are likely to decrease starting October 16, according to petroleum sector sources. The price of petrol is expected to drop by up to Rs. 6.10 per liter. This reduction will offer some relief to consumers who have been struggling with rising inflation and high fuel costs.

Similarly, the price of high-speed diesel is also expected to decrease by about 97 paisa per liter, based on industry pricing submitted to the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA). The price cut comes as a welcome move amid ongoing economic challenges.
