Pakistan, Dec. 1 -- The federal government has announced a reduction in petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) prices for the next fortnight, effective from December 1, following recommendations from the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) and relevant ministries.

According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division on Sunday, the price of petrol has been set at Rs263.45 per litre, reflecting a decrease of Rs2 per litre. Similarly, HSD saw a decline of Rs4.79, bringing its price down to Rs279.65 per litre.
