Pakistan, June 15 -- ISLAMABAD - Fuel prices in Pakistan are expected to rise once again for the next 15 days, with petrol likely to go up by Rs1.12 and diesel by Rs5.27 per litre, sources revealed on Sunday.
The increase comes in response to rising global oil prices. According to insiders, the Oil Companies Advisory Council (OCAC) has already prepared a detailed working paper based on recent trends in the international energy market.
Meanwhile, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) is expected to send a formal summary to the federal government today. The final decision on any fuel price adjustments will be made by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
