Pakistan, April 19 -- The government has decided to appoint permanent Chief Justices for all four high courts in Pakistan, including the Islamabad High Court. Sources say that nominations for Chief Justices will be requested for all provincial high courts by May 4. This move aims to provide stability and continuity in the judiciary.
The Judicial Commission meeting, originally set for May 2, has been rescheduled to May 19. In this meeting, the commission will discuss the appointments for the Chief Justices of the Balochistan and Sindh High Courts. They will also consider appointments for the Peshawar and Islamabad High Courts.
