Pakistan, Jan. 14 -- The Sindh High Court on Wednesday expressed displeasure over the absence of the chief secretary and the home secretary as the court resumed hearing of a contempt of court petition over detention of four accused of Daniel Pearl's murder.
The high court had issued notices to the chief secretary Sindh and others in the contempt petition; however, they did not appear before the court. Superintendent Central Jail Hassan Sehto and special secretary home were present during the contempt hearing.
