LAHORE, Oct. 23 -- The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has suspended the Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Multan Sultans for violating contractual terms, officials confirmed on Thursday.

According to PCB sources, a formal suspension notice was issued to the franchise after the board completed all legal and procedural requirements. The notice also carries a warning of possible contract termination if compliance issues persist.

Sources revealed that the decision was primarily linked to franchise owner Ali Tareen's repeated interviews in which he allegedly made remarks against the PCB and PSL management, causing reputational damage to the league.
