Pakistan, April 19 -- PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi confirmed that Pakistan's women's cricket team will not travel to India for the ICC Women's World Cup. He stated the team is ready to play at any neutral venue instead, as agreed earlier.
The decision follows a mutual understanding between India and Pakistan to use neutral venues due to ongoing political tensions. This model was also used during the 2023 Asia Cup and will apply to the 2025 Champions Trophy and 2026 T20 World Cup.
Naqvi praised the women's team for their strong performance and team spirit. He said they deserve rewards for their efforts and promised continued support and recognition.
