Pakistan, July 16 -- The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a revamped three-tier domestic cricket structure for the 2025-26 season, which will run from August 2025 to May 2026. This new system replaces the previous two-tier format and brings over 40 departmental teams under one competitive framework. The three grades-Grade-I, Grade-II, and the newly introduced Grade-III-aim to promote fair competition with a promotion and relegation system.

In the new setup, Grade-III will feature two-day matches scheduled for March and April 2026. Teams were selected based on their performance in the 2024-25 President's Trophy Grade-II. The top two Grade-III teams will move up to Grade-II, while the lowest two Grade-II sides will be relegated, ...
