The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has taken a firm stand following the controversial behavior of the match referee during the recent Asia Cup clash against India. Sources reveal that the PCB has formally informed the International Cricket Council (ICC) that Pakistan will refuse to play any further matches in the Asia Cup unless the match referee is replaced.
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi confirmed that a formal complaint has been lodged with the ICC against referee Andy Pycroft, accusing him of actions that violated the spirit of cricket. The PCB has demanded the immediate removal of Pycroft from the tournament.
