Pakistan, July 27 -- ISLAMABAD - Pakistan has achieved a remarkable milestone by winning its first-ever Gold Medal at the prestigious International Biology Olympiad (IBO). Abdul Raffay Paracha, a student of Siddique Public School, secured the medal at the 35th IBO held in the Philippines from July 20 to 27, bringing pride and recognition to the country on a global stage.
The Pakistani team participated under the STEM Careers Programme, a joint initiative of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and the Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS).
