Pakistan, Oct. 15 -- Pakistan and Vietnam have officially started Pakistan Vietnam trade negotiations to finalize a Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA) that aims to expand bilateral commerce and investment. The announcement came during a high-level Pakistan-Vietnam Business Forum held in Islamabad on Tuesday, co-chaired by Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan and Vietnam's Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien.

The meeting marked a new phase in Pakistan Vietnam trade relations, with both sides agreeing to complete negotiations by the end of 2025.
