Pakistan, July 8 -- The federal cabinet has given the final approval to import 500,000 tons of sugar to stabilize the market. The government sector will manage the import process, and all preparations are complete. The Ministry of Food Security confirmed that import operations will start without delay.

The ministry explained that this move aims to keep sugar prices balanced across the country. This import plan is different from past approaches, as it focuses on a better strategy.
