Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that the country will host its maiden T20 International tri-series in November, featuring Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan. The much-anticipated event will begin on November 17 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, where Pakistan will take on Afghanistan in the opening clash.
This tri-series is being seen as a key opportunity for all three teams to prepare ahead of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, which will be staged next year in India and Sri Lanka. Afghanistan will also make history by playing their first-ever T20 International in Pakistan, having earlier played only five One-Day Internationals in the country.
