Pakistan has strongly rejected Afghanistan's claims about cross-border attacks. The Foreign Office made clear that only Pakistan decides who can remain within its borders. Officials stressed that undocumented individuals will be sent back, while legal residents will continue under proper rules.

Foreign Office spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan addressed journalists during a briefing. He said decisions about Afghan refugees are part of discussions between leaders of both countries. He also emphasized that Germany should honor its commitment to resettle Afghan citizens who qualify under international arrangements.
