PESHAWAR, Oct. 23 -- Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, said on Thursday that Pakistan has taken effective measures to counter the presence of terrorists in Afghanistan and to ensure peace along the border.

The DG ISPR made these remarks during his visit to the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology (GIKI) in Swabi, where he engaged with students and faculty members. His discussions covered recent Pakistan-Afghanistan border clashes, the overall security situation, and the impact of social media on national discourse.
