Pakistan, Jan. 16 -- The return of Afghan nationals from Pakistan is ongoing, with 275,183 people repatriated so far. The process has occurred in three phases. The authorities are coordinating efforts to ensure smooth and orderly returns across the country.
In the first phase from November 1, 2023, to February 14, 2025, 82,916 Afghans were repatriated. The second phase, from February 15 to August 31, 2025, saw 44,584 people return. Currently, the third phase is ongoing, with 147,683 Afghans repatriated so far.
