ISLAMABAD - Pakistan and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) have begun the second review of the ongoing loan program, with discussions focusing on flood recovery, revenue generation, and the next $1 billion tranche under the program.

The IMF mission has met with provincial officials to assess proposals for boosting provincial revenues and providing relief packages to flood-affected communities. Talks will also review the scale of flood-related damages and finalize plans for economic recovery in the coming days.
