Islamabad, Feb. 7 -- Hafiz Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi, coordinator of the National Peace Message Committee, held a press conference with religious scholars regarding the Tarlai attack. He said the committee was formed to promote peace in Pakistan.
Committee members and scholars visited PIMS Hospital to meet and pray for the injured. Ashrafi said it was the first time he saw representatives of all religions visiting the wounded with tears in their eyes.
Ashrafi condemned the attackers, calling them enemies of Islam and Pakistan. He said those who attacked worshippers will face hell and that the act had no connection to Islam or humanity. He added that the nation stands united against terrorism.
