Pakistan, Dec. 5 -- Sri Lankan Army Commander Lieutenant General Lasantharu Darigo lauded Pakistan's urban search and rescue team for their professionalism during devastating floods, highlighting their vital role in timely relief operations across the country.
Darigo expressed gratitude to Pakistan for providing prompt assistance in challenging circumstances and praised the efficiency, coordination, and dedication of the rescue personnel sent to aid affected communities.
Following directives from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Pakistan's National Disaster Management Authority dispatched an elite 47-member Search and Rescue Team along with 6.5 tons of essential relief equipment via a C-130 aircraft.
