Pakistan, Oct. 6 -- LAHORE/RAWALPINDI - Pakistan Railways has announced a significant increase in the fares for train services operating between Lahore and Rawalpindi, effective from today. The fare hike specifically applies to the popular Subuk Kharam and Subuk Raftar railcars.

According to a spokesperson for Pakistan Railways, the fares have been raised by an amount ranging from Rs. 150 to Rs. 250. In a move to offset the impact of the price increase, the spokesperson confirmed that all passengers will now be provided with complimentary refreshments as part of their journey.
