Pakistan, Oct. 17 -- ISLAMABAD - Pakistan's Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, reaffirmed the country's commitment to bilateral maritime cooperation with the United States during an official visit, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported on Friday.

The visit aimed to enhance defence engagements and professional collaboration between the Pakistan Navy and US Navy, which share a long-standing relationship. In September, the US Navy ship USS Wayne E. Meyer departed from Karachi after a two-day port call, further strengthening ties.
