Pakistan, Feb. 23 -- The government of Pakistan has launched the Prime Minister's Electric Bike and Rickshaw Scheme 2026 under the PAVE program, aiming to promote affordable and environmentally friendly transportation nationwide.
Hamad Ali Mansoor, CEO of the Engineering Development Board (EDB), outlined key details, including subsidy amounts, targets, and eligibility criteria. A total of Rs100 billion has been allocated for the program over the next five years, with Rs9 billion earmarked for the current fiscal year.
