Pakistan, July 30 -- The Government of Pakistan is all set to launch its first-ever National Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy, with formal approval expected from the federal cabinet today. This ambitious move aims to make Pakistan a key player in AI and emerging technologies, with a bold target of training 1 million individuals in AI skills across the country.

The Ministry of IT and Telecommunication has already submitted the detailed policy draft to the cabinet. Once approved, the policy will be immediately enforced. The strategy outlines the training of 10,000 specialized AI trainers, along with building capacity in AI development, ethical use, and applications in both the public and private sectors.
