Pakistan, June 16 -- Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar firmly denied any claims about Pakistan threatening a nuclear attack on Israel. Speaking in the Senate, he said Pakistan has not made any such statement. He stressed that these dangerous and false reports are being spread to mislead the public and damage Pakistan's global image.
Dar explained that several old and AI-generated clips are circulating on social media. He pointed to a 2011 video of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and a fake video clip of former U.S. President Trump. Both clips were falsely shared as recent. A fake video of Defence Minister Khawaja Asif was also spread recently, raising concerns about misinformation.
