Pakistan, Dec. 11 -- Pakistan's government has approved a one-time exemption from the Financial Instrument requirement for kinnow and potato exports to CIS countries via Iran, enabling the immediate start of the delayed export season.
The Ministry of Commerce issued an official notification under Para 3 of the Export Policy Order 2022, while the mechanism for repatriation of export proceeds will be announced separately for smooth operations.
The directive has been circulated to the Federal Board of Revenue, State Bank of Pakistan, customs authorities, and trade missions in Moscow, Tehran, Tashkent, Almaty, and Dushanbe, ensuring rapid implementation.
