Islamabad, Jan. 14 -- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has formed three committees to boost exports and achieve economic growth without relying on the IMF. The committees aim to improve governance, increase revenue, and ensure legal compliance with international standards. Officials say these measures will help strengthen Pakistan's economy and reduce external financial dependence.

Finance Minister Mohammad Aurangzeb leads the Governance Committee for economic growth. Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal heads the Export and Revenue Committee. Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar chairs the Legal Committee to meet FATF targets. Together, these committees plan a roadmap to boost exports and strengthen institutional frameworks.
