Pakistan, July 20 -- KARACHI - Pakistan has once again extended its airspace ban on Indian aircraft, pushing the restriction until August 24, according to a statement issued by the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA).
This is the third consecutive extension since the initial ban was imposed on April 24. The move comes amid ongoing tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighbours following a deadly attack in India-occupied Kashmir.
India blamed Pakistan for the incident that killed 26 tourists, but Islamabad firmly denied any involvement and demanded an international investigation. Tensions escalated further with a brief military conflict in May.
