Pakistan, June 23 -- ISLAMABAD - The Government of Pakistan is likely to extend its airspace ban on Indian airlines for another month, as the current restriction nears expiration. A fresh Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) is expected to be issued later today, continuing the ban until late July.

The restriction was first imposed on April 24 following increased tensions between Pakistan and India over the Pahalgam incident. It was later extended on May 23 for another month. Now, with the second phase set to end on June 23, officials are preparing to prolong the ban again.
