Pakistan, Jan. 12 -- Pakistan's Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has dismissed social media claims alleging the country is being used as a base for a possible US strike on Iran. The fact-check account on X said the reports are propaganda circulated by Afghan and Indian accounts.

Posts by accounts including Khurasan Media Urdu, Afghan Defense, and Baba Banaras claimed US refuelling and surveillance aircraft were operating from Pakistan to prepare for attacks on Iran. The claims cited unusual flight activity and presence at Dalbandin and Pasni airbases.
